sometimes I am a dog, but sometimes I am a cat! it depends on the concrete situation and my mood now. I think that there are no pure "yes"-people or "no"-people, but may be I'm wrong.

'Clammy' also means недружелюбный, неприветливый, холодный

It is better to say:
....I am a cat (with the article)
and then

I like being alone (remember like+Verb+ing)

I absolutely agree with those who say there are no pure "cats" or "dogs" among people. As for me... well, usually it is difficult for me to say "NO", I realize that sometimes it is necessary to do it, but I simply can't.

I used to practice such attitude to the surrounding world myself but as I recently understood it isn't very efficient.

I think the ability to say "No" and defend our own ideas brings much more satisfaction than being alone. Moreover such ability makes our relations with other people more qualitative, bright and valuable.

Just face your fear only once.

Do it, say "No". And then to your surprise you'll find that there is nothing to be afraid of.

I don't know another way to overcome a fear than to face it.
